Christmas was wonderful! It was good to be home for the holidays! We were at Amy's Grandmothers house in Glendora on Christmas Eve and then her parents in La Verne the rest of Christmas. Kaili got spoiled as usual-but so did Amy and Brian! Amy and Brian are going to see Wicked next Saturday thanks to Santa. Santa brought Kaili the doll house she wanted along with 7 Princess Barbie dolls! Nana made Kaili the most beautiful quilt that she now sleeps with all the time. She actually wants to go to bed just to snuggle with it! And what makes it so incredibly special is the small little patch of Grampy's jeans that are sewn in one of the corners. Losing Grampy in October is something we are all still trying to understand. As 2008 comes to an end, we are anticipating lots of good things to come in 2009. This has been a year of change, growth, and even sadness. Now that Brian and Kaili are both healthy and fully recovered from their surgeries, everyone is sleeping a little better these days. Brian is enjoying his new job while Amy is adjusting to being home with Kaili full time. We have done lots of traveling: Iowa, Oregon, San Francisco, and most recently Florida. We have never had a "Blog" before so this will give Amy something to work on in between spending time with Kaili and scrapbooking!
