On Saturday August 15, Brian headed off to start a new job on Grand Cayman. Kaili and I are staying stateside until the baby is born (with the exception of a possible vacation for three weeks to the island). I have filled our social calendar to help distract Kaili. She got very attached to her dad while he was home from work the past 7 months so this transition will be tough. On Sunday August 16, Kaili was treated to lunch and shopping at the American Girl Place in Los Angeles. My mom came with us and we had a nice "Girls Day Out"!. Kaili got to pick out a few special treats for her doll as a potty training reward. We are so excited to be done with diapers and pulls up (even if it only for a few months until her brother arrives).
